Shutterdown's beginnings are like those of many other bands. A serendipitous bringing together of like-minded souls through a mutual friend soon led to a year-long musical journey to discover a defining sound. Amidst the vaguely executed ideas, late-night frequency explorations and moments of eurphorisonic epiphanies, Shutterdown happened.

Shutterdown's debut album explores the fascinations of its members, who are constantly wondering about fanciful things, the meaning of dreams, connecting (or disconnecting) with nature and other people.

The self-titled demo EP will be available October 5th on iTunes, CDBaby, etc. The tracks were written and produced at Max's home, among the Squirrels of the Hill. Mastering/mixing of the full-length album are to be announced.
